Self-threading needles (also called blind needles) make it easy to thread without the use of a threader. They are extremely suitable for people who are visually impaired. The needles are made of hardened, rust-protected steel. The self-threading needles have a notch on top of the needle. The thread simply needs to be placed on it, and then pressed down. The spring mechanism will let go, and the thread is in the needle.
